What do you get when you take the famed French filmmaker behind the La Blogothèque take-away shows and an 8 piece Copenhagen based indie rock band? Vincent Moon and Efterklang’s collaboration, An Island. The overall idea for the project was to make a film the same length as an album and include “performances, experiments and collaborations.” The result is a beautiful film shot over a four day period on an island in the Danish countryside, complete with stunning visuals and, more importantly, wonderful music.
